Overview

Cost Engineering evaluates the cost effects and economic implications of decisions made during the management of a construction project; decisions such as site selection, architectural and engineering design.

The Cost Engineering services provide the necessary tools to control and report on the cost at regular intervals as required by the project.

Services:

• Develop conceptual estimates that reflect the project program.
• Development of a project Work breakdown structure (WBS) and its associated costs.
• Functioning a Cost /Financial Sub-system, part of Timeline Project Control System (TPCS), during the project course.
• Change Control process that ensures potential changes to the deliverables of a project or the sequence of work in a project, are recorded, evaluated, authorised, and managed.
